Just a quick note to let y'all know that since this weekend is Palatine's annual Oktoberfest Celebration, Lady Dee has donned her dirndl and David his lederhosen (at least in spirit), and will be offering her popular rendition of Wiener Schnitzel. This Friday and Saturday evening, from 5pm till 10pm, you'll be able to get the Schnitzel, which is our usual generous portion of tender veal made with a light, thin breading (not a thick, greasy one that so many places foist on you), along with her homemade Spaetzle, and Cucumber Salad.
Ach du Lieber! Das is goot!!!
And for Dessert, our Cordon Bleu Pastry Chef Mimi has come up with a Strudelette Trio, consisting of 3 Strudelettes: Apple, Cherry, and Lemon-Mascarpone.
We'll also have a fine selection of German Beers (after all, what's Oktoberfest without Beer??)
